January Kick-about & Social

There was an excellent turnout for our club's first event of 2020! We had planned a kick about and puck around at the Landsdowne Middle School fields from 1-3pm followed by casual pints at The Irish Times Pub from 4pm onwards. Despite January 2020 being one of the wettest on record for Victoria, we lucked out and enjoyed sunshine-with a little mud! It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces in attendance, both new and familiar.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event a success! We would also like to thank the Hillside Location of David's Tea for providing warm beverages for our players and The Irish Times Pub for hosting our group for the evening. The Van Isle Rovers Gaelic Athletic Club is looking forward to our inaugural year, as we enter 2020 with both a men's and ladies' Gaelic Football team!
