November Club Social

Updated: Feb 17, 2020

Our Club's first social event was a huge success! We had planned a kick about and puck around at the Landsdowne Middle School fields from 3-5pm followed by casual pints at McRae's Bistro from 5pm onwards. Despite some ominous-looking clouds, we had a lovely (albeit chilly) November day for training. The excitement surrounding the first ever Gaelic club on the island drew a wide range of people from our community, including some young GAA fans!

We would like to give a huge thank you to Christopher Loran from 100.3 The Q! The Island's Rock for attending our inaugural club social last month and for preparing the following promotional video for us!

We were amazed by the outpouring of support for our club and would like to thank everyone who attended and made this event a success. We are also grateful to McRae's Bistro for hosting us later in the evening and to Cadboro Bay Starbucks for their donation of warm beverages for the event. We are looking forward to an exciting 2020 season!
